It all started on November 15, 2010.... After many weeks of enjoyable and preparation it was time to begin. Our rational was, making learning engaging, enjoyable, and connected! The students had some anxiety and were not quite sure at first. Now that it has been a little over a week, the students are adjusting better each day. They are seeing the value in what we are doing and they are getting used to the routines and procedures. One student said in a reflection "it makes learning so much easier when it is connected", well said!
Each week we are integrating more of the curriculum focus on the theme project! This week we are working in small groups to research the Coca-Cola company over the decades and how the company has evolved. We are also working on finding the 200 countries that have Coca-Cola products in world. We will be writing to students in those countries to request a coke / can from their country! Happy Learning is ahead....the students are discovering so much and they are so excited about learning! One said "I can't believe it is already lunch time, we have been so busy this morning learning, the time flew by!"
