Yesterday the teachers announced that we are going to try to go to Georgia. It is not official but it depends on how many people are willing to go. We are trying to get some sponsors and grants. Our big sponsor we are trying to get is the Coca-Cola. We are going to Georgia because that is where Coke started and that is where the headquarters is. We will also be going other places in Georgia too. Martin Luther Memorial, a Baptist church, Atlanta Zoo and aquarium, and The Medieval Times. There are more those are just a couple. If we go we will be touring in a charter bus for three days.
Today was another exciting day because we got our cans from India! Yes we got all six and, we all surprised that they were the same but oh well we are just happy that we got them. None of them were broken just a few dents. All the students including us are very excited to start the collection from all over the world even though we have a few cans that other students got from trips. We have pictures of some of the students opening the package. One student even wanted to smell the package to see what India smelled like. We got some crazy students.
Jan 14th was the taste test and it was a success. No one knew which one was what they were marked cola A and cola B. Although we didn't know we could surely tell the difference. Well some kids could tell the difference. Just look at the pictures you can tell for yourself that everybody had a blast and they will never forget it.
Today was the taste test. The results are in. First we did a poll and coke had 18 votes and Pepsi had 8. For each class! Now here comes the final results!!!! The votes are in 62% for cola B and and 38% for cola A. Now you are wondering which one was Coke and Which one was Pepsi well Cola A was........ Pepsi and we bet you know which one is coke well if you don't know cola B was Coke. More pictures to come.
Today we once again checked our email and we got one from Peru and one from India. the person in India said he/she could send us 6 cans!!!!!! Most likely they will all come sometime next week. The coke cans will probably be different types knowing there are going to be 6 cans coming from the same place! The taste test is tomorrow and we picked our groups. There are three people in each group. We are going to have two desks in the hall spread out. Two people in each group will pour and the other person will mark the results down. Once they are done they will go in a separate room so that they can't talk to the others who did not take the taste test.Pictures on the way tomorrow.
Today we decided what we were going to do. We are going to do a taste test almost every week. First we are going to do the original rivals. Pepsi vs. Coke. First we are going to take a poll of who likes Coke or Pepsi .then we are going toa survey to see if they really like whatthey chose. Next after that we have some ideas of pop that we will do after the first taste test. Coke vs Coke Zero, Pepsi Max vs Coke Zero. Hopefully we will post some Pictures of the sucsess we are having with the taste.
Today we excitedly looked at our email to see if anyone replied.WE GOT TWO!!!!Both of themsaid they were on break but when they got back they would send us info and maybe even a can.One was from Peru and one was from Tokyo. Today we also brainstormed some ideas for bothof our classes to do. We said that weekly we would could do taste testing seeing who likes whatbetter and we are even thinking of going to Georgia. The whole group came up with some vocabwords relating to Coca-Cola for our weekly test.
