Nelsons Sale was a success!

The Nelson's Fundraiser was a HUGE success and a lot of FUN! We are so thankful the many parents and students that spent their Friday evening with us...selling many halves of chicken. We sold 996 halves of chicken and loads of potatoes! It was a great time, it raised money for those going on the Atlanta trip and most of all it was a great time had by all! Thank you to all those who helped out....You made it happen!!

Mystery Cans Sent To Us??

These "mystery" bottles came on Monday.....but our teachers didn't show them to us until Tuesday. There was no note or letter in the package. We didn't who it was from or where they were from. But luckily we found a number and address on the side. Our class had to investigate in this "mystery". then we found out some stuff about them like the red can is in Arabic writing and the bottle and diet coke can is in french. We used google translate to see where it was from. that site was very helpful! :) The words translated to Coca-Cola, Sugar Free, and Registered Trademark. Learning everyday!!

52 Shirt Crew

We are making a company!! It is a go, we will be selling T-shirts, sweat shirts, etc. We are glad to pronounce our chairman Katie our president Allison and our vice president Tyler. Our two kind Secretaries who are Holly & Julia are going to be running the front desk, and organizing the shirt forms. Also we have established 6 different teams. The technology team ran by Andrew, the sales team ran by Allie, the stock team ran by Hannah, the advertising team ran by Ally & Paige, the finance team is ran by Asia, and the distribution team ran by Blayne & Ryan.

All of the COCA-COLA student designed cans are now in the hallway....come by and check it out! Which one is your favorite? There were many different ideas! The teachers won't tell us which one is their favorite. They tell us they like them all......so do we!! Come and see them!

Assembly Line?

Have you taken part in an Assembly line? Well today we are. In one of the recent post we talked about making new can designs. That is what were doing today. We are getting cans out of a recycling bin,wiping,drying, and putting a label on them. Then displaying them, we will be displaying then out in the hall. That way everybody that walks by will see our designs.

Our Trip To The Next Step

Atlanta, Georgia is a go!!! Our next step is getting the sponsors and fundraising sales. There are already students who have sold all 20 of their tickets for the fundraiser. They are ready for more. This is the best part of the trip except for the actual trip. We are trying to get the sponsors in our local area. Except for our really big sponsors. The price was originally $739, but we have 32 people going. Which dropped the price down to $647!!!!!!!

New Coke Cans??

Last Friday we were working on making our own can designs. There were a lot of different designs there was Superbowl, neon, smiley faces, flames, strips, and etc. We had a blank piece of paper that was the size of the can if you rapped it around. We spent about 1 hour and 15 minutes. so we had a lot of time to design. The most important part of the can was the coke label. The day was an enjoyable after noon for everybody.

Coca-Cola Recipe "leaked"!?

A few days ago some students have talked to the teachers about the Coke recipe that they found on the Internet. Well some people have tried it and it didn't taste right. So we think it is missing some important ingredients. Some things on the Internet are fake as you can see this one is fake.

More & More Thank You Letters Going Out!!

We have more and more thank you letters going out. That means we are getting more and more cans coming in. The thank you letter group is having to write letters almost every day. They have been writing thank you letters to Italy, Israel, Madagascar & etc. We have been working hard to keep you updated.
